Have a Great Idea, but Need Money to Do It?
The West
Windsor-Plainsboro Education Foundation is happy to announce the
Spring 2010 grant cycle. Grant applications are available
and must be submitted by Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.
Let me give you a sample of some of the projects we have
funded.

Dutch Neck Elementary School “Junior FIRST Lego League”

Maurice Hawk Elementary School “Get Real with Reading
Project”

Town Center Elementary School “Fostering Fluency”

Wicoff Elementary School “Summer Math Reading Club”

Millstone River “Pollywog Paradise Vernal Pond”

Village School “Electricity & Magnetism”

Community Middle School “Books, Bites and Banter”

Grover Middle School “Math in the Middle”

High School North “Weighing in on Chemistry”

High School South “Grid-Tied Solar Renewable Energy”
Spring grant applications will be reviewed in April with decisions
no later than early June. Grants awarded at this time are
for projects taking place in the 2010-2011 school year.
Applications are available at above link. Teachers, staff,
administrators, and high school students can complete an
application. Student applicants must have a teacher advisor as
co-applicant.
We strongly encourage applicants to run their
ideas by us before spending significant time on a grant
application. If you would like assistance in preparing a
